Charity fundraising update

William Edwards Charity Fundraising update:

the Rotary club via Corin Whymark gave William Edwards 10 hampers of Christmas foods to deliver to some local families in need of support over the Christmas period. The school’s Pastoral have delivered these and the families were very grateful to receive them.

School staff have also made donations of food and gifts and PALS have collected boxes of chocolates which were taken to the Foodbank.
Thurrock foodbank keeps a ready supply of clothing, household and baby equipment as well as food. We also donate resources throughout the year so if you get any items you need to re-gift please send them our way!

A huge thank you to all the staff and students at WES who have supported the PALS/student Executive fund raising events over the past few weeks. The totals are:

St. Luke’s Charity Card Event raised £83 pound.

The sale of Candy Canes, cakes and the raffle have raised £405.00 split between Wallace Kennels and MIND. Congratulations to Rosemary from Catering Academy who won the raffle
