Should you not be successful in securing a place at William Edwards for your child(ren), you have the right of appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel. If you are appealing for a place in Year 7 during the normal transition between years 6 – 7, completed appeal forms MUST be returned to Mrs Cannon by 2nd May 2017 and any additional evidence must be received by 8th May 2017 although it may be possible to submit additional evidence later than this. Please see the appeals guide located further down this page.
The school will present their case for not being able to admit additional students to all parents who have met the above deadlines, on 13th June 2017 with individual hearings between 13th – 16th June 2017
Appointment times for individual hearings will be sent by post from the Clerk to Appeals to all on-time appellants by 29th May 2017
Any request for appeal for Year 7 entry which is received after 2nd May 2017 or for admission to any other year group (in-year appeals) will be heard as soon as a panel can be convened.
